Brookings lived up to it's reputation of being the banana belt of Oregon.
The bad news is....
We froze our A$$es off on the way back....
45 degrees, wet and foggy....
burrrr....
It was nice of Bill and Dixie to meet us at Collier tunnel and lead us to the sun shine!
After a nice lunch at Pancho's we parted ways in the parking lot. Some were able to stay and enjoy the sun and warmth, while the rest of us had to suffer home through the cold and fog.
Even if for a short time, it was good to see the ocean, the sun and even better to feel the warmth of it on our skin.

Ok, so we had it all that day. Oh except for the cold.(sorry Biker Babe) What friends we have to suffer through the cold and fog to come over to spend a few hours with us in the sun and warmth. What are Pals for? Your the best!
I am the best!! haha not really!
But now that's it over and I'm toasty warm again, I feel a little bit proud of myself for enduring such weather with no heated gear!!

We didnt have any warm vests or electric stuff. We were just toasty and enjoyed the ride. And Sammie, you are the best! Thats what El Cap says.
Actually Frieyladd...For those of us who did endure the cold BP and I were the only ones without heated gear.
